About the Founder

Danica Spriggs, DBA

FOUNDER & PRINCIPAL

I am a business professional, educator, entrepreneur, and retired veteran, having proudly served 21 years in the U.S. Air Force. My career paths have been focused on developing people, strengthening organizations, and creating opportunities for growth. I hold a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) with a focus on organizational leadership and currently serve as a college instructor, where I teach business strategy, experiential leadership, team dynamics, and professional development. As the Founder and Principal of DES Ascent Group, I bring together my academic expertise, business knowledge, and extensive leadership experience to help individuals and organizations navigate change, develop talent, strengthen performance, and achieve their goals. Beyond my work in higher education and business, I serve on nonprofit boards and contribute to strategic planning, organizational development, and community-focused initiatives. These experiences have shaped my people-centered, results-driven approach and allow me to bring a broad perspective to the individuals and organizations I serve. Through DES Ascent Group, I combine education, leadership, business, military service, and community engagement to create practical solutions that help people and organizations move forward with clarity and purpose.
